Dr. Peterson earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Carroll College in 2009 and completed his dental degree (2013) and periodontics specialty training (2017) at Oregon Health & Science University. He is a board-certified periodontist (DABP), a diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry (ABOI/ID), and a diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (DICOI). He is also a certified LANAP® clinician and a LANAP certified instructor through the Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry. Dr. Peterson holds active memberships in several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP), the Academy of Osseointegration (AO), the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), the American Dental Association (ADA), the California Dental Association (CDA), the Tri-County Dental Association, and the Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry (IALD).

Dr. Fuentes is a highly accomplished periodontal specialist with over four decades of experience. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Dentistry in 1981 and completed a certificate in periodontics at Loma Linda School of Dentistry in 1988. Dr. Fuentes is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a Fellow of the International College of Oral Implantologists. He also teaches at Loma Linda School of Dentistry and is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology and the American Dental Association.
